A Brynna Update

Since we are so far behind on posts, these are old, but worth putting out there!

A few months ago Brynna started up in Gymnastics!  She goes once a week for a little under an hour and L.O.V.E.S it!  It was a slow start at first as Brynna is very cautious around new people, but after 4 or 5 sessions she was all about it!  Her teacher for the first session and a half was Christy, but now she has a new teacher (Steve) and is more independent of Mommy!  She used to love to jump on the trampoline, but now she's all about the beam and bars.  We'll see how it goes, but she asks me every day when she gets to go to gymnastics again!

Brynna loves to paint her nails...and everyone else's nails too!  She booked Grandma ahead of her trip to make sure they could do plenty of nail painting.  She likes to have many different colors on her nails.  Well, about a month ago was her friend Blythe's birthday and we took our little girls to get manicures and pedicures for Blythe's birthday.  It was so cute seeing the 3 of them sitting up there with their purple nails and pink and orange toes.  Of course we all wondered if we were setting ourselves up for bad things in the future!  So, fast forward to today and Brynna got her first haircut! :)  It started out a little rough when she fell off of a chair int he waiting room and got a booboo on her hear (you'll see her holding a towel to her ear).  Poor banana! I told her we could go home, but she wanted to stay so after bribing just a bit and telling her she could get her fingernails and toenails painted if she was a big girl and got her haircut, she was all about it!!  She was such a good girl and looked sooo cute after she got her haircut!  So, of course we also have some very pink and very sparkly nails! :)

 

 Jaden and Brynna have really taken to playing together lately.  That goes hand in hand with the fighting bumping up a notch too!  They love to play hide-n-seek and they love to run around in the yard together.  The also build "houses" which is a basically taking all the pillow, cushions and blankets they can find and laying them out next to each other all over the floor.  It's cute, but a pain to clean up EVERY day! :)  They also love to push each other around the house on the little bikes and plasma car.  Jaden will often say, "Brynna do you want to come play with me in my room?"  I love to see them getting along so well.  I hope this is a view into the future...just minus the fighting!
