December to Remember

Trying to think back a few months to all the great things we did in December. It started off with Jaden's Christmas Program. This was a lot of fun, Daddy, Mommy, Nana and Brynna went and saw Jaden sing Christmas Songs with his classmates. As always, Jaden was completely in to it and did a fantastic job!

 

We also had a train ride to the "North Pole" to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus. I mention Mrs. Claus, because Brynna is still completely freaked out by Santa, but was fine telling Mrs. Claus what she wanted for Christmas....lots of babies!

We went on this ride with the Fagan's and while the kids absolutely loved it, it might have been one of the worst experiences you can have with a 5 and 2 year old. The train ride was about 45 minutes and then you were stuck at the "North Pole" for 3 hours, followed by 45 minutes on the train back to the car. Then we an hour drive home. This wouldn't be all that bad if it didn't start at 6:00 pm! We put on big smiles for the kids and powered through it.

Next up was the big day...Christmas! Uncle Tommy was in town and as always, Santa out did himself. Jaden got a Nintendo DSi, a Scooter, Nerf Guns and a bunch of other stuff. Brynna got a kitchen and a ton of babies! Jaden ripped open all of his gifts in 10 minutes, Brynna on the other hand took her time and had to open and play with each toy after unwrapping it. We ended up in the back yard shooting each other with the Nerf Dart Guns after everything was opened up. We ended the night with Dinner with Uncle Tommy, Nana, Grandma and Grandpa Robling and of course all of us. It was a really great Christmas!

Grandma came into town for Jaden's 5th birthday on the 28th. We celebrated, pre-birthday party, with the Fagan's (Kate is one of Jaden's best friends), Nana and Grandma. It was a nice laid back birthday with some yummy Publix cake!

Since Steph's mom was in town we got to go out a few times. We went to a pre-NYE party for one of my friend's birthdays. There is this awesome place called the Pub in Tampa where you pour your own beer...of course a dream come true for me! The next night we went out with some friends on NYE for dinner at Maggiano's, followed by some Rockband!

All in all, a great month prior to heading into 2011!
