Lightning Ice Again

Jaden's Jr Lightning Team got to play after the first period of the Lightning v. Wild game on Saturday November 22nd.  This time Jaden was going against his best friend, Logan, in goal.

As always, I was down in the tunnel as a chaperone to help the kids (and goalies) get their equipment on.  Jaden wore his Penguins/Steelers/Fleury mask for this game.  In the tunnel he definitely got some grief, but it was well worth it.

In the game, it was a 1-1 tie until the very end.  The time was up, but they gave the kids an extra 30 seconds (overtime) and Jaden's team scored for a 2-1 victory.  Coming off the ice, Jaden claims that the goal he gave up did not cross the goal line (he is always trying to get shutouts).  Regardless, it was a great time that the kids will remember for a long time!
