In late September Jaden started his next step in hockey, on a real team! They practice every Monday and play games on Saturday. He has a Jersey (#24) and really loves playing real games. It is 4 on 4, with one of the kids playing goal, which Jaden loves to play. He has figured out that at this age, the kids can't shoot the puck high, so he lays down when he is the goalie and blocks the goal line...it is funny but kind of frustrating.
He and his friend Ryan play on this Mites team together and they have such a good time, while they like to frustrate their parents. He and Ryan trip each other on purpose and screw around during drills. We had to have a talk with them to cut it out, so it is getting better now.

We have a big full ice scrimmage this Saturday (keep in mind this is an old blog that we wrote back in November) coming up that Jaden is super excited for!
