2012 Fall Hockey Season

We wrapped up Jaden's first Hockey Season in December.  It was the Rec-Mites program.  They would practice on Monday nights and play cross ice games on Saturday.  Twice they got to play full ice games with line changes.  Needless to say on those days he was exhausted.

He improved so much in the 4 month season and had a blast.  The better players that get to travel for games got the white jersey's, while the kids that are below that level have blue jersey's.  Jaden's new goal is to get a white jersey in this upcoming season.  He is still on the younger side, as some of the kids are 8 and close to 9, where he just turned 7 so I am trying to set his expectations correctly.  If he does get a white jersey, we will be thrilled, but do want to let him know that he is still learning and has a ways to go.

A quick update on the new season, he scored 2 goals in his 2nd of 3 tryout's, so he is doing great!
