Whew, Disney (Day 1)

Disney, Oh Disney.  Our family took a long anticipated trip to Disney over Mother’s day weekend.  We live in Florida and really should take advantage.  We started Thursday night at Fairfield Inn about 5 miles from Disney.  The kids were SOOOO excited about the bunk beds!  Seriously, I think we could have just hung out there the whole weekend and they would have been happy!  It was a tough night getting them to sleep, but by 10pm it finally happened.  That 10pm bedtime made for a rough morning.  Friday, we decided to spend the day at Magic Kingdom.  We started off with a couple of Buzz Light year rides!  Jaden loves that game (he's actually playing it right now on the Wii as I write this).  Brynna was too scared so Jaden went one round with me and one with Daddy.  After that went wend driving on the Speedway!  The both love anything that has to do with driving so that was a lot of fun.  I even got a little video of Brynna driving...should I be scared for what the future may hold??? :)

Of course, we couldn't miss the princesses so after driving for a bit, we headed back to the front of the park to wait in line for the princesses.  Oh my goodness did my little girl love those princesses!  She was smiling ear to ear and jumping around over ALL the princesses and Jaden was a big fan himself.  As a matter of fact, Jaden got a special gift from Cinderella:

Really though, Brynna was in heaven.  We saw Sleeping Beauty, Belle and Cinderella. She was so excited to see all of them and as a matter of fact, we had to go back and visit them a second time after lunch and the parade!  The second time we got to see Ariel!  It was just a sweet moment to share with our little banana as she came back from each princess with the glimmer in her eye!   

 

 

 

We also saw Minnie and Mickey, which Jaden loved, but of course Brynna wasn’t having any furry friends.  After visiting with Mickey we had to call it a day at Magic Kingdom.  Both kids were exhausted from having very little sleep and to be honest we wanted to check into our hotel.  So we spend the evening at the hotel and actually went off site to have some pizza.  That's a lot of info!  So, I'm going to save days 2 and 3 for the next post...stay tuned!
