Moving into a new house is not fun...

Well it has been a while since we last posted, as we moved into our new house in late September. We closed on September 18th, worked on the house for a week, moved in (as much as you can move in with 2 kids) and then prepared our old house for our renters. Those two weeks were not much fun, as it was either painting, fixing, installing or something on both houses. After those two weeks, we managed to have a little bit of fun in between the unpacking, installing and lots and lots of yard work!

We took a quick trip to Disney with just Jaden while Nana watched Brynna. It was a lot of fun because it wasn't too crowded so there were really no lines (for Disney at least). Jaden loved the Buzz Lightyear ride, we went on that twice. We got to go to the Laugh Floor (Steph and I enjoy this more than Jaden), Stitches Ride, the Car ride, Dumbo (this was quite a wait), a roller coaster and of course we had to go to Mickey's house and meet Mickey. Jaden ran up to Minnie, took one look at her and went over and hugged Mickey. He pretty much dissed Minnie, very funny.

We also had a birthday party which was a lot of fun for the kids...Kylie turned 3 (according to Jaden the old Kylie, not the new Kylie) and there was a great big Pirate Bounce house. For some reason Bounce Houses are all the rage, kind of like an advanced trampoline for those that don't know.

After that Jaden and then Steph came down with a nasty stomach bug, so first Jaden and then Steph where out of comission for about a week combined. Steph was finally healthy enough to go get pumpkins at our usual Pumpkin Patch...who said there was a pumpkin shortage, it was the best selection we have seen in years.

Tonight after the big Steelers victory, we finally got to enjoy our new back yard! We ran around and played for about an hour now that it has cooled off, as 70 degrees is quite a break from the high 80's.

Both kids also love playing in the playroom now too. It includes a lot of coloring on tables and playdough messes, but nothing that can't be cleaned up. They have a lot of fun coloring together!

Hopefully in the next two weeks we will finally be completely settled in because we have Halloween (Jaden asks everyday if we can go Trick or Treating yet) and then Uncle Tommy coming to visit the following week.

As for new things the kids are doing, Brynna is saying two word sentences (Color Please? is one of them and Shoes Off is the other) and causing daily terror - throwing baby powder all over the place, coloring on anything she can find, playing in the toilet, poking Jaden. Oh and we can't forget "changing" her babies. We have naked babies all over the house and usually there are diapers and wipes everywhere too! She's all girl!

Back in September, Brynna and Steph had a Mommy and Daughter day and headed to the aquarium. Brynna had fun running around in splash park in her clothes, but this picture is too good not to share!

Jaden is still in school 2 days a week, he seems to really like it along with his friends Thomas (as he explains not the train but the boy), Noah and Ty. He never shut's up, and I mean never, asks what letter every word starts with and telling on Brynna - Daddy, look at Brynna. Daddy, Brynna is on the counter. Daddy, Brynna hit me.
