Wine...and oh San Francisco

For those that might actually be interested in what's going on with the adult Scotts...here's a treat! I had THE BEST trip out to Wine Country with my BFF! Breanne and I figured that we have been friends for nearly 20 years! We met in 5th grade when we moved to Boonville, IN. Well, this year we turned 30! GASP! To celebrate being fantastic women and friends for so long we decided to treat ourselves to a trip to California. We spent the first day on an all day wine tour! It was so amazing. We started on a bus tour from San Francisco, across the Golden Gate Bridge, and into wine country. We had 4 stops...
Domaine Chandon

V. Sattui

Flora Springs

Andretti

Chandon had fantastic sparkling wine, V. Sattui had the best sampling of cheeses ever (and a great deli), Flora Springs had great Cabernet and Merlot (and I'm not a big fan usually) and Andretti had the most amazing Tuscan setting! The tour ended with a Ferri Boat ride back to San Francisco. What a great day! That night we headed out to a club with some new found friends from the wine tour and believe it or not made it back to our hotel by 11pm! Late enough for me!
The next day was so much fun. We were both very laid back which made us great traveling buddies! We hit the "Crookedest Street", Fisherman's Wharf in the morning and then made our way to Union Square for shopping! While walking around shopping we happened up a few pubs that we had to stop in! We finished the night at a little whole in the wall sushi place and the next day we had breakfast in this cute little cafe near Chinatown and then headed home. It was such a great trip and I will never forget it!
