He's 3!

Oh my, this is an old one that I wrote a month ago and never posted. What the heck...I'll get it out there!

I cannot believe that another year has gone by and my baby boy is now 3! How did that happen? He's just getting so big. Of course, with this new year comes new fits. He's quite demanding. We've been working on that, but that means a lot of fits ! Although, the good far outweighs the bad. He's so smart and so cute! It's so fun having conversations with him now and singing the ABCs and just every day hanging out. He says some of the funniest things. His most commonly used phrase is, "What's ____ doin?" For example, "What's mommy's hair doin?", "What's baby sister's hair doin?" Anytime something is messed up, he wants to know what it's doing. Lately he's been calling Gordon, Gordon instead of Daddy. We don't really freak out just say, no that's Daddy. Oh and whenever something happens like he jumps high, or falls down, throws a ball, or hits Daddy (not so good), his new phrase is, "That's a good one!" When we watch the Steelers, he says, "What's Ben doing?" Very funny because some times we wonder the same thing! He loves to lock Duce (one of our cats) in the room with him and play up there forever. That's good and bad because he spends a lot of time up there, but then I miss him! ha! He's finally started calling his little sister by her name, Bynna (without the r) instead of baby sister or banana.


So, with all of this we celebrated his actual birthday on the 28th up in Indiana. He got to wake up to a room full of bamoons (aka balloons) and loved it! We didn't do a big huge thing just pizza for us and a grilled cheese for him with Grandma, Aunt Shelly, Aunt Ashley, Chelsea and Allison. Then we opened up some presents and played for a bit. The big deal was last Saturday (Jan 10th). We had a party for him at the zoo with some friends! It was so cute. All but one of the kids was a bit younger than Jaden, but the one little boy Jamie is almost 5 and lucky we had him because he was the only one asking questions! During the party they brought in several animals for us to pet. We got to touch and alligator, lizard, turtle, and armadillo. It was all very neat, but Jaden lost interested after the lizard. After all the animals, we had lunch and ate some cupcakes and then off to the zoo. We've been to the zoo a ton, but this time we got to ride a little roller coaster. Jaded LOVED it. At first he wasn't so sure, but once we started going fast down the little hill, he was laughing so hard. It was great! It was a great way to celebrate our little big man turning 3!
