Horseland

One of Brynna's favorite shows is Horseland.  It's a story of young kids that ride at the Horseland ranch.  There are great lessons, but Brynna has been so focused on going horseback riding because of this show.  I finally gave in 2 weeks ago.  I called a "ranch" called Soaring Eagles to get her a little exposure.  Little did I know she would LOVE it!  Chrissy her instructor introduced her to Ladybug and showed Brynna how to get her ready (aka Tack her up??) and then it was off to learn.

First she went around the ring hanging on to the saddled, then she went around with one hand on a hip, then two, and then NO HANDS!!  That was to test her balance and she did great.  Then it was time to hold the reigns and learn the commands to get Ladybug to stop and go.

That smile didn't leave her face for hours.  She was so disappointed when it was time to say goodbye to Ladybug. Looks like we have yet another sport!
