2nd Grade for Jaden!

Jaden started 2nd Grade today.  He found out this past weekend that his teacher was Ms. Pav.  She is a brand new teacher and Jaden said she is super nice!  He did have some mixed emotions though as his best friend (who he says he has a crush on) Peyton M. is not in his class, but her twin sister Riley is!

 

 We went to orientation yesterday and met Ms. Pav and saw his classmates.  There are a few other friends that he knows in class; Justin, Riley Mayer and Riley Stryker, Avash, Jakob, Natalia and Sean. 

His first day was great.  We dropped him off at school and he went right in.  He took the bus home with Brynna (this was her first day of Kindergarten) and told us all about it.  He eats at 10:50 (which is later than last year which is good), and they get to switch seats every month.  They got to run on the track today where he saw Corey from last years class.  The best part of it for Jaden was no homework.
I think 2nd grade is going to be great.  He was exhausted, so we were able to get him to bed by 7:30 today.
