First Day of VPK

Today was Jaden's first day of VPK (pre-kindergarten)!  Beginning with the last day of school last year, Jaden has continuously said he DOES NOT want to go back to school.  He didn't want a new teacher or new friends.  We heard it all summer long.  So, today was no different.  He woke up saying he didn't want to go to school that he wasn't feeling well.  Well, as we got closer he got a little more excited...that may have had some to do with the fact that I said he could take Agent P with him to show Ms. Flor.  As we were waiting in line to sign him in, his buddy Tyler showed up.  I'm thinking this is Jaden's first best friend.  He LOVES Tyler and they are like two little twins and are crazy and so much fun together.  As soon as he saw Tyler, he was ready to go in.  He was so excited he almost forgot to give Mommy a hug and kiss!  Seeing how excited he was took away all of the sadness of watching my big boy start going to school every day.  I picked him up and the first thing he said was it was a long day and he was hungry!  Pretty typical for my little snacker!  It was a pretty good day and we start all over tomorrow.
