A little Brynna Update

Brynna has started doing the cutest (and most helpful) thing lately. Anytime she feels that she needs a diaper change, she grabs the box of wipes and lays down on the floor saying, "Oop, oop" Now, it's not always a poop and there's not always a lot of pee either, but she does always need a change! I love it. All we have to do now is say "diaper" and she'll lay down wherever she is! I think I might start potty training soon....well, maybe it's a bit early!

Her favorite words lately are baby, bird and duck! Oh my goodness! We just had Courtney, Craig and Jackson in town for a visit and she was obsessed with Jackson. She was constantly in his face saying, "baby baby baby" over and over again! Also, any duck or bird we see is the same thing! Now, I will say sometimes it's hard to tell if she's saying bird or bear because they both sound like "brrrrr". Today she did say car for the first time too. We were at Nana's for lunch and had to go into the "toy" closet. Jaden pulled out the bucket of cars and Brynna picked up one of them and said car just plain as day! It really is getting hard to keep up with all the words she has which is just wonderful! My favorite though is Jadeee (aka Jaden)! She just loves her big brother.

One thing I don't know if I've mentioned is Brynna extreme obsession with her Blankie! That thing is with her every minute of the day it seems. Well, not every minute because if we are ever in the car close to naptime or bedtime all we hear is "bankie, bankie, bankie." She loves that blankie...thank you Great Grandma Robling!

Last week was lots of fun! We got to go to the beach a few times. Once I had both kids on my own! Yikes! Now, I will say Craig was lots of help because Jaden was attached to his hip! The two of them were out in the water a ton while Courtney and I stayed back with the babies. It wasn't too bad because I had a little help, but I'm not sure I'll do it again soon. The second time we went I only had Jaden and that was much easier, but again he wouldn't leave Craig alone!

A week ago Thursday we traveled up to Indianapolis for my friend Maigen's wedding. It was beautiful and fun! While I was doing wedding "stuff", Gordon got to hang out with his college buddies and the kids got to spend the night with Grandma! We did manage to slip in a quick visit with Grandpa Robling. My mom came and picked the kids up Friday after their naps and headed to Bloomington. I know they had lots of fun because Sunday on the way home they were WIPED out! Both slept almost the entire flight, each took a 2 hour nap that afternoon and then they slept until 8am the next morning (which is a big deal for our kids)! I need Grandma to wear them out every weekend!

Of course I can't end this blog without a few of Jaden's choice moments of the month! He loves his sprinkle donuts! Plus, Gordon got Rock Band for his birthday...Jaden and Brynna both love to play the drums.

Our next trip is next weekend! We have an action packed couple of months here at the end of the summer! We're heading up to Ohio to visit with my Dad and Grandparents for a couple days and then off to Pittsburgh. Gordon wants to take Jaden to a Pirates game, so it should be fun!
