This year was Brynna's first Easter! While she didn't exactly understand what was going on, she definitely loved shaking all those Easter Eggs! Our Easter started out at a friend's house with a HUGE Easter Egg Hunt. Jaden actually got in to it this year, but he's still sort of slow and wants to shake every egg before committing...you know, to be sure he's getting the good stuff! Ha! He definitely got a lot of stuff and became a pro at Easter Egg Hunts because we had 3 this year! The first was at the friend's house, the second was in our house first thing in the morning. I guess growing up one of Gordon's traditions was to wake up to Easter eggs all over the house so 
we're doing the same for our kids. Jaden was thrilled to say the least. The third Easter egg hunt was at church. He didn't have as much luck because being picky and shaking all the eggs first means other kids get the rest!!!
Both kids got Easter baskets this year too so it was interesting to see Jaden eyeing Brynna's stuff. I think Brynna preferred the plastic eggs to anything else in her basket.
We ended the day with a nice Easter meal at Nana's house. Any time we get to go to Nana's is a treat for the kids so it was a great way to end the day!
