Spring Break 09

Whew! This last week we had a house full and loved it! Grandma (my mom) and Aunt Ashley got in the 14th early in the morning and stayed for a whole week! It was great having them in town. Saturday we just spent the day at the house lounging around...well we also spent some time outside by the pool and all got a little burn! On Sunday, Gordon was kind enough to stay behind with the kids and the 4 ladies headed out to Clearwater beach. The weather was so beautiful. It was nice to be able to relax. Wednesday, Nana watched Jaden and the ladies headed to the beach. Brynna LOVED the beach. I think her favorite part was eating the sand! Oh man we couldn't keep her from shoving it in her mouth!! She would just take off crawling, but anytime that breeze blew her hair up she was in heaven! She looked so cute in her little yellow and while striped suit with an alligator on it. Thursday, Gordon got back from Ft. Lauderdale and brough Boogs with him. Jaden was slightly obsessed with Boogs! He followed him everywhere! Although, Jaden's favorite part of the week was definitely sleeping in "Grandma's bed" with her. Grandma was on an air mattress on the floor in his room and he had to sleep with her every night! So, now it's time to buy a big boy bed. Well, an even bigger big boy bed! :) We all headed to the beach on Friday and Brynna and Jaden had a blast again. Jaden used to hate the beach...he didn't like the sand, the water, the sun, nothing! He loves it now. Gordon and Jaden spent most of the time out at the water's edge. He also collected a ton of shells which I'm hoping to do a little art project with. All in all it was a good week! Back to the daily grind...
