Crunch Travel Hockey and the Concussion

So the plan for Jaden this Fall was to heal his numerous injuries (Knee injuries and Schleraderma) and play when he could and train with his goalie coach Glen.

In late August he was asked to practice with a new team, the TB Crunch.  This is a PeeWee AA team out of Wesley Chapel.  After his first practice they asked him to play in the upcoming tournament.

During that tournament, they were playing against some of the best talent in the State of Florida at the PeeWee level.  They lost all 4 games, but Jaden played amazing with a save percentage over .900.

In the last game he got hit in the head with a puck and came off immediately.  He had been hit in the side of the head the day before, and now his head was killing him...we found out he had a concussion.

5 weeks later, and he is cleared to play.  He did decide to join the Crunch, so we are now hoping for an injury free rest of the season.
