Stanley Cup Finals

June 9th we flew up to Pittsburgh to catch Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Penguins and Sharks. 

First thing we did when we got off the plane was head to Primanti's for an HBK and an IC Light! 

We thought by leaving for the game 3 hours early, traffic would be fine...we were wrong.  We spent 2 hours in the car for what should have taken 30 minutes.  We did see the Shark hanging from the WDVE building!

When we finally parked it was insane.  So many people (100,000 showed up to watch the game on the big screen outside).  We made our way in early, made some signs and went to the kids zone.  Our seats were nose bleeds, but it was the most electric sports atmosphere I have ever seen!  Jaden loved it...Brynna fell asleep in the 3rd period.

Although the Pens lost (they would win the Cup on Monday when we were in Buffalo) it was one of the best experiences and I am glad the kids got enjoy it!
