Big year for Brynna in Figure Skating. She moved up to Freestyle 1! That means more jumps, spins and tricks of all sort! The "season" always begins for us in Brandon in November. She has been working on her FS1 program for a few months now. We weren't expecting all 1st places because she's so new and so young, but we were so proud of how she performed! She had 4 events: Stroking, Compulsories, Interpretive and Program. She got a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. The 4th place was in stroking so she didn't take that very well! Plus,it was her first "last" place. We tried to brighten her spirits, but it wasn't until she got a first in Compulsories that she perked up. That was the first day of the competition. On the second day (more important day) she had Interpretive and Program. Interpretive is just that, these little things skate out on to the ice, the announcer plays some piece of music and the girls have to make up a routine on the spot!!! She did GREAT! She was so exciting for this event and you can believe it will be in the line up from now on! She really had a great even skating her program to Music of the Night/ Phantom of the Opera. We love watching her skate!!
