While Brynna started last Monday, Jaden had an extra day to hang out with Nana. He started First Grade last Tuesday. Let's just say he wasn't quite as eager to get going as Brynna. Once we managed to get him out of bed and get him going, he started to pep up and was excited to get on the bus with Mr. Keith. I didn't get to watch him get on the bus because he wanted me to meet him at school to make sure he could get to class. So, one quick picture and off I went while Daddy and Brynna walked him to the bus.
I made it just in time for him to get off the bus. He had two friends on the bus this year. His friend Jamie lives across the street and Sam is at the 4th bus stop. Both started Kindergarten this year so when Jaden got off the bus he wanted to walk them to their class so they got there ok. My caring little man! It was sweet to watch. Once they were safe and sound we headed to his class. He was a little hesitant, but not much...he gave me a big squeeze and off he went. My big boy! :)
